4. Is the property managed by someone local who can be contacted if there is a maintenance issue or if any problems arise during my vacation?

Starter amenities are provided, such as laundry detergent, dish washing soap, toilet paper, paper towels, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. There are several good supermarkets close by for the purchase of food and additional items.

The price you pay for your vacation includes a generous utility allowance of $200 US per week. With responsible use, this should cover the costs for gas, water and electricity. Any additional usage is deducted from the refundable security deposit.

There are two taxes levied by the Govenment of Aruba: (a) Tourist Tax of 9.5% and (b) an Environmental Tax per occupied bedroom, which is $3 US per bedroom used per night.

3. What other costs can we expect?

The easiest method of payment is through Paypal, although other methods can be arranged if necessary.
Payment can be made in two ways:
(a)  In full plus the $700 security deposit at the time of booking, or
(b)  In two stages, a 50% down payment at the time of booking, and the remainder of the payment (plus $700 security deposit) due 60 days prior to the start of your vacation. The security deposit is fully refundable, subject to compliance with the terms of the Rental Agreement.
